Chapter 9

Gatsby is found in his pool dead and Nick invited a lot of people to Gatsby's funeral but no one showed up. The only person who cared and show up to his funeral was the mailman.

Chapter 8

-Nick tells Gatsby to leave Long Island until the scandal of Myrtle's death has gone down. Gatsby didn't consider it because he couldn't leave Daisy until he knew what she was gonna do.
-Gatsby was shot by Mr.Wilson after this event he takes his own life 

Chapter 7

In this chapter Daisy ran over Mrs.Wilson but Gatsby wanted to take the blame for Daisy and protect her.
Tom and Daisy are trying to come up with ways so Daisy doesn’t get caught.

-Gatsby changed his real name to Jay Gatsby ( His real name is James Gatz)
-Gatsby wishes he could erase the last three years so that he could be with Daisy

HOPEPUNK; can mean that you sincerely care about something that requires you to be strong and brave. It also can include standing up and fighting for what you believe in.

Last century writing

Naturalism, realism is almost the same things but realism is more about life when naturalism more like a chronicle of despair.  modernism is like a literal period after realism.

Today in class we interviewed Cory Doctorow. Cory is a author and an activist that focuses on the internet, copy rights, and technology policies and laws.

• he writes his books to inspire people to help in the world

• tech wasn't something you just made but apart of this weird invention/creation
